Green Bay, Wisconsin

"I had the strangest experience last week at the Dennys on Oneida Street in Green Bay Wisconsin...just down the street from Lambeau field. The waitress, who had to be one of the oldest human beings I have ever seen, plopped down a menu and asked if I was ready to order. Ok, I order, she writes it down and she picks up the menu...and goes to the hostess stand. Talks to the hostess for 10 minutes, picks up a menu, brings it back to me, plops it down again and asks me if I'm ready to order. Nothing I could say or do could convince her that I had just ordered. I honestly thought I was on candid camera!" - written prior to September, 1999

"A brand new Denny's opened not too long ago...right next to Congo River mini-golf. Didn't actually eat there. Went in and there was a line, the waitress informed us there was about a 45 minute wait for a table and we left and went to a different establishment." - written prior to September, 1999

"This the one on Hwy 50 next to the I94 over pass, across and down from the Brat Stop? For some reason I thought that it was in Bristol, but I guess it could be Kenosha I live in Delavan strait down Hwy 50 and I sometimes work out that way. I always stop at that Denny's for Breakfast. The waitress's are cute and they flirt a lot, but there a little slow with the coffee refills." - written prior to September, 1999

March 7, 2000 - "I'm an assistant manager/server at a Denny's in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I've been working there for a year give or take a few months when I was fired, quit, quit, fired, fired, quit. Anyways, we have the worst service in the world. We had to go to a workshop because we had 54 discrimination complaints in one year. Plus, the cook and I like to rob the skil crane thing to get all the stuffed animals. Stop in and say hi. I like to give out free pie."

Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin

June 2, 2000 - "As I said before, we took a road trip up to the Dells. That is the reason that I hate KOA campgrounds. They didn't want us staying there because none of us were over 21. We were threatened that if we bothered anyone, we'd be kicked out immediately. Our first night there, we had to tip-toe around because they had a guard perched watching us. And what else is there to do at 3am when you can't talk to the people you're camping with? The three that aren't in one of the couples getting it on get in a car and hunt out something that's open. The Perkins was closed so we wound up at Denny's. Not too much happened there except that the guy at the table across from us was smoking cloves and was nice enough to let me bum one. How great the nose works, n'est ce pas? Surprisingly, though, at 3a there were quite a few people there. No big deal, though."
