"heyheyhey i am a team leader at a denny's restaurant in new zealand. there are four denny's in new zealand and all but one of them really rock we have all our regulars customers and all the ups and downs of working with th einfamous denny's management team. our operations manager that runs all of the denny's in new zeland is a right ussless nasty bastard that couldn't give a rats ar*e about us workers and is only interested in labouyr sosts and profits and productivity and food costing
but if you want to find the best service in new zealand come to our fabulous store, especiall the one on the north shore. if you are especially hungary then order cjicken fajitas. most definetly the best thjing on the menu but the hickory burgers are pretty excellent as well!!" - written prior to September, 1999

March 5, 2002 - "Don't worry. The thought that I actually read a Denny's-associated page on the web is just as frightening to me, as is the thought of you meeting people through your page. Oh dear.... this is indeed a sad comment on the human condition.... Be that as it may, you will be delighted to hear that there is indeed a real Denny's restaurant in New Zealand, where I am. One, I believe (which, it could be argued, is one too many. Indeed, it would be argued, because I would). It is equally as awful as any other Denny's elsewhere, only more expensive. April 26, 2000 - "there are two denny's in NZ, one in Christchurch and one in Auckland. Both are open 24 hours and absolutely rock. The Auckland one is on the North Shore and has plenty of parking and big glass windows overlooking a lagoon kinda thing. Oreo sundaes and shots of vodka are the best way to survive any Denny's experience and shot be had in equal numbers."

May 3, 2000 - "(May I say that not all kiwis are as bad at spelling as the North Shore Denny's employee who wrote to you - but he was obviously a rather angry and bitter young man having difficulty seeing his screen through his veil of tears)
Denny's Christchurch passed in a bit of a blur for me - I was out of my head at the time and remember finding the Spanish translations for "Wash Your Hands" and "Waste Disposal" in the bathrooms oddly hilarious in a country so far from the Americas and Europe. But the staff were very kind and stoic in the face of my drunken demands for more tomato sauce, though the chips (Or french fries) were well below average. The service was perfunctory, but to their credit the kids on the graveyard shift are obviously unphased by unacceptable social behaviour from their patrons. "
