Nashua, New Hampshire
- "The Denny's in Nashua, N.H. is pretty cool. You can get fries and a water as a meal for like two bucks. It's also cool when the electricity goes out and they can't use the cash register." - written prior to September, 1999

- "My name is Jon and we've got a nifty Dennys here in the parking lot of a mall built in the 60s that has jack shit inside. The only apparent moneymaking stores in this mall area are Radio Shack, Canad Cinema, Friendly's (inside the mall and not accessable 24-7) and Dennys. The main support of this area is the retiremed "assistance" appartments across the way. They get so sick of filling coffee that they sneak pots to our table and hide them behind the ads for oreo shakes and stuff. There's one guy who looks like a tall weird al. Uh...well that's all for now. bye." - written prior to September, 1999

- "If you ever get to the Denny's at the Nashua Mall in Nashua, NH tell the bastards to go and fuck themselves. Worst bunch of white trash ever. Tell them I am doing fine and am making more money than most of them combined. Tell them also that a fish rots from its head down, as this concept ought to hit the dull bastards right where they live--they are accustomed to rot there, you know. Eat at Bickford's on Amherst Street." - written prior to September, 1999

- "I go to the Denny's on exit 6 on Rte. 3 in Nashua, NH. It is a pretty weird place. Sometimes if you are lucky you can see the light saber people. They are people who have mock sword fights at early hours of the morning in the parking lot. Other than that the only interesting thing about Denny's is that you are bound to run into someone you know. Bickfords North on Amherst St. is way better." - written prior to September, 1999

- May 4, 2000 - "I have to admit that the Denny's in Nashua sucks, at least food wise. It does have the advantage of being the only restaurant (if you can call it that) in town that is actually open 24:7 -- we have a lot of Bickford's (we pronounce it Bickfahd's, but that's New England) but they're only open 24:7 on weekends. I have spent many hours at the Denny's in Nashua studying when I needed to pull an all nighter but didn't need to keep my entire apartment awake.
The advantage of the place is that they don't really give a shit if you sleep (most of the high school seems to be there, snoring away in the smoking section and drinking coffee, as the high school is only a quarter mile away [major tactical error there] and Denny's is a favored place to cut school, although not so much after they took the cigarette machine out), that they also don't give a shit if you smoke grass in the bathroom or out front (I have yet to know anyone who tried to smoke it indoors), and they have what appears to be a Cannabis sativa plant in the dining room, if you know where to look. (First plastic marijuana plant I ever saw.)
The disadvantage is that the local police picked up on the fact that Denny's is the site of a lot of soft drug deals (no hard shit, not with half the city under 25 showing up drunk off their ass in the middle of the night -- only an idiot would carry under those conditions) and therefore tend to hang out there glaring, although I have yet to see them check anyone for holding. There's some fighting in the parking lot, but nothing big -- you don't go near them they ain't gonna cut you.
So, in conclusion, don't eat the food -- it ain't worth it. But if you want to see an interesting sociological cross-section of local youth, go right ahead. Just don't order anything but coffee."

- November 7, 2001 - "A few years back I took a second job at the only Denny's in Nashua. It is just of exit 6. I needed money for school so I worked as the graveyard dishwasher after I got out of my 2nd shift job. My manager was a woman who said she used to be a drill instructor and I believe it. Once the place slowed down I had to wash the walls and other crap. (Man was I tired.) The place was full of wierdo's and maybe the old french head cook could pass as Weird Al if he got old, thin, and Canadian. I was weird because I was a dishwasher who spoke english. The food was good and the placed filled with trashy chicks on the weekends.
Oh yea.. A few years after I left, my friend watched some drunk kid drive his car through the Denny's. The kid lived, but he drove through the employee bathroom I used to hide out in to nap."

- "Well I saw your *ahem* interesting web page o' Denny's today, & it inspired me to run right out and go to my local one to give you a review. I'd been there before, but we have to be precise about these things! It was in Salem, NH on Route 28. I'm sorry I don't know the store #. It was about 5:30 pm. I got the $3.99 chicken strip dinner (I'm sure you care). It's sort of a modern Denny's, no wierd psychedelic stuff. They do have a counter/ eating bar that looks at the kitchen, though. However, I chose a booth near the window. No one there that I saw looked like Wierd Al. Especially not my crusty old waitress, Betty. (well maybe she did a little. I was trying not to look at her. Ick!) I didn't really have any fun adventures on this particular visit as you seem to have on your visits, as I am quite antisocial and avoid speaking to anyone I don't have to. I did get a bit of free stuff, 4 packs of crackers. I can split them with you if you want.(;->) Anyway, you page is cool & funny, I wish you good luck on your future Denny's expeditions!" - written prior to September, 1999

- "hello mr. p7a77, I will tell you about my dennys now..its in Salem, New Hampshire and it is one of the most evil places in the world....would you like to know why?? Ill tell you anyway, they kick me out on a regular basis...why you ask? oh, no reason really...all except the fact that the scared little man (the manager) HATES me and anyone I come in to contact with for no good reason whatsoever. I feel violated...but yet..somehow attracted...I go back night after night for lack of anything else fun and exciting to do. well I suppose I shouldnt be too hard on them..(I said hard on) they do, after all, sell cum covered meat and various other things that keep me amused when all else fails. and the waitresses are nice...but they dont stick up for me...so I have a resentment. I cant help it! by the way my name is Tammy, and if you would like to hear more of my amusing denny's antics I will be more than happy to tell you of them...lord knows I've nothing better to do." - written prior to September, 1999

- "In contrast to the reviews (which have been thus far horrid) of my local Denny's, I would like to offer a contrarian review.
My Denny's is on Rt. 28 in Salem NH which is almost a mile south of the Rockingham Mall.
It offers courteous service as long as one is not being too loud or obnoxious. Further, I grew up in this Denny's. It is filled with familiar sights and smells, and people I haven't seen since high school. The walls are smeared with exploded creamer packets thrown by me and the bad goth grrrrrl poetry we made fun of is probably still under the seat of the table in the back corner. It is like a mini-high school reunion every time I walk in with Chris (French Fries, Grilled Cheese, no tomato) or Ron (coffee) or Katy (who orders the blasphemous "Moons over my Hammy, hold the ham"). I like variety. The coffee is a must though.
Anyone who has a bad experience at my Denny's is either ytoo self absorbed to see the magnesty of those yellowing walls, or too pretentious to get to know their waitresses. There was a time when it was a first name only establishemnt, during the Natalie administration.
It is a beautiful thing. I have been in Denny's with better food, or nicer with staff, or shorter lines, or cleaner floors, but never one as beautiful as Salem NH." - written prior to September, 1999
