Baton Rouge, Louisiana
- April 26, 2003 - "We used to enjoy Denny's for a family breakfast or travel stop or even a late night dinner. The Denny's in Baton Rouge is in need of a Remodel and a new manager! Twice we have gone and had to seat ourselves, because of slow or barely any help working. It took so long to order and get the food, the last time we walked out!!!! Another American tradition bites the dust!!!!"

Covington, Louisiana
- June 2, 2000 - "Highway 190, Covington Louisiana - My boyfriend at the time used to live in Covington before I met him in Memphis. His old roommate lived in an apartment complex near this Denny's, so when we'd go visit her, we'd wind up going to Denny's with her or after dropping her off at home. It's a fairly large Denny's, and pretty clean from what I can tell. the back half was always closed while I was there and there was maybe another table of people in there, either drunk old people walking around with beer bottles (Hey, it's Louisiana.) or a large group of kids that took over about 6 tables and kept singing oldies songs. The waitress that was always there was really nice and always remember my boyfriend when he came to visit. That's probably one of the reasons I don't go out to that one. That and it's across the 33.5 mile bridge and I'd have to pay $3 to come home."

Hammond, Louisiana
- "Hi from South Louisiana... Just a little note to express my Disgust with Denny's The Denny's in Hammond,LA just recently opened we were all excited to try it out and to our dismay... IT was horrible, rude people, bad food, and for what we paid the food was definetly not worth it. They should have let the trees live instead of killing them for this joke of a restaurant. You poor things if all the Denny's around the nation are like the one in Hammond....." - written prior to September, 1999

Harahan, Louisiana
- "When I was ther for lunch the other day- the waitress asked my pal and I what we wanted to eat... After setting down the two shades too dark iced tea, we asked what the vegetable of the day was? She asked,"Does it matter?" and ambled off in the direction of the kitchen. Well, suffice to say that had we not cared- would we have asked? (Being partial to string beans and all...) Good thing it wasn't squash- not that we don't like squash- it is just not what we had in mind to go with our t-bones... I am sure that the guy who looks like wierd Al was working in the kitchen - although come to think of it- the manager kinda resembled him a little- That is all for now- Thanks, and since I am not pregnant with the twins anymore- it is easier to fit in the booths!" - written prior to September, 1999

Jefferson, Louisiana
- June 2, 2000 - "Clearview Parkway, Jefferson, Louisiana - This is the Denny's closest to the Palace theater, so again, it's right there when the movie lets out. I've only tried to go there once. I made it into the main doorways and almost didn't make it out. There was no sign of even the possibility of service, and I almost wound up passed out on the floor because the whole place smelled of cat piss. Not the kind of place I'd enjoy drinking my coffee so we went out to Veterans."

Metairie, Louisiana
- "I frequent the denny's in Metairie Louisiana. I choose this particular store because there are two waitpersons who look like Weird Al Yankovic. Unfortunately one of them is a female. As you might imagine, just the slightest bit of flattery to this woman and she will "look the other way" when you skip out on the bill. My favorite selection on the menu is the Catfish and crawfiush mousse with chocolate sauce. I hope you get a chance to visit this location and sample the fine local delicacies that are include on the menu along with the usual "Pigs in a Blanket" and Coffee." - written prior to September, 1999

- June 2, 2000 - "Causeway (I-10 Service) Metairie Louisiana - The first and only time I went to this Denny's was in the beginning of February. My boyfriend at the time had come down to visit from Jackson, MS after work on a Friday night. He'd stopped at a friends on the way to my dorm, so he didn't get there until around 10p. We were both kinda dressed up, him from work and me cause I thought we were gonna go to dinner. We did go to dinner, but at Denny's, where we were completely over-dressed. This Denny's is tenincy. And the oddest thing about it was that there was only one group of people in there that was even close to mine or my boyfriend's age (I'm 19, he's 25) This one group was about 5 high school age kids who were sitting in the non-smoking section. For some reason, that just struck me as very odd."

- June 2, 2000 - "Veterans Road, Metairie Louisiana - I finally got my car down in New Orleans back in February. My first usage of it, other than to drive it down from Memphis and drive around Tulane University for an hour trying to find a place to park was going to Denny's. I prefer the Denny's on Veterans to the one at the Causeway, even though it's farther away, mainly because it's bigger. I've recently stopped going so much because it's a pain in the ass to be standing at Denny's for an hour waiting for the lazy cashier girl to get off her ass and clear the tables. She just walks around with this pissed off look because she actually has to do work. My usual waitress, Marie, I think, is always very nice, though, and pays close attention to who was there first, even if the bitchy lady didn't seat you because you're younger. I once made the mistake of talking to someone at another booth, though. It's not that big of a deal, but any time I tried to talk to the people I'd gone with, this guy, Richard, would poke at my hair. He gave me his number, and since I don't call people, I gave him mine. He only called twice. If he tried after that, I don't know because I've moved twice in the past two months since I met him. I used to see him and his friend in there when I'd go get coffee, and the friend would always tell me I had to meet his new boyfriend or interest or whatever. But I haven't been up there in a while so I haven't had to deal with anything too odd."

Shreveport, Louisiana
- May 23, 2002 - "I would just like to say that my husband and I stopped in at the Denny's in Shreveport, Louisiana In May of 2002 and it was the worst service We have ever had. There were people of certain races that were waited on, after we were seated that received their food before we got ours. They were waited on by their own race. Our food was not cooked right, we couldn't get any silverware. The guy that was waiting on us commented how we liked his coffee and then did not even give us refills. Other people around us received just as poor service as we did, accept for the African American couple. If I am ever out that way again I will be certain not to eat there. No wonder IHOPS are popping up everywhere."

Slidell, Louisiana
- "Hi everyone. I would like to welcome all of you to visit the Denny's restaurant in Slidell, Louisiana. I've eaten there a few times myself and the food and service by the dedicated staff can't be beat. In Slidell, we have just about any restaurant you could ask for but I would truly have to say that Denny's has them all beat with their quality service and excellent food. In fact, I was so impressed by the service there, that I joined the Denny's team. I currently am employed at the Slidell branch of Denny's and encourage all of you to come and visit with us some time." - written prior to September, 1999
