Aiea, Hawaii
- "I have had the pleasure to dine at the Dennys next to the Pearlrigde Mall here in Hawaii. I have also vistied the one near Waikiki Beach. Truly two of the worlds greatest wonders---Dennys and Hawaii." - written prior to September, 1999

Honolulu, Hawaii
- "Okay, so, we're on a nice holiday and think we're going to have a decent breakfast cause the pineapple didn't cut it. We spotted the Denny's across from the Outrigger Surf and thought JACKPOT! To our chagrin, the only thing missing was that someone hadn't hopped up on the table and taken a shit in our breakfast !!!!!!! There was a man in the kitchen coughing his lungs up, the waitress's fingernails appeared to have a weeks worth of something under them, and I guess we weren't so partial to the cockroaches making themselves at home under our table. We reccomend a hotel with a kitchenette, in order to make good use of the airplane snacks you brought along with you." - written prior to September, 1999

- "Think twice before going to Dennys. It must be a policy to make customers wait for 30-45 min before waitresses take your order and bring your food. The food is not prepared like the photo on the menu. The bread is stale, the food was cold. They do not give you all the amount of meat that is stated for instance there was suppose to be 2 pieces of bacon and I only got 1 1/2 pieces. And we complained to the waitress and she loud talked us to try to embarrass us. As for the manager he tries to act like he is concerned but he is not. I hope you use our comments so people will know that Dennys Restraunt in Hawaii is the same as the other Dennys in the world. Feel free to e-mail me back if you want more information on Dennys in Hawaii" - written prior to September, 1999

Kailua-Kona, Hawaii
- "Just wanted to let all of you Dennys Fans know of our Brand New Dennys in Kona Hawaii. We opened on April 6th 1997, My shift (Graveyard) was the first to open up the restuarant. I must say there is chaos, and I do hope things get going smooth soon. We plan to be the #1 Dennys in the world, if we are not smiling please just say "Non Verbal" and see if you get a response, some may be puzzled but if it is an old timer that trained during the night training prior to opening the restuarant, they will know what it means. If they do not know what it means, please tell them that it means "Smile". If you come into our Kona Dennys, please do so on the Graveyard shift and ask for "Maile" (prononuced My-lee) Well ta-ta for now, its off to work I go." - written prior to September, 1999

- "Just opened is the Dennys in Kailua-Kona on the Big Island....Graveyard shift is a special delight as this is the only 24 hour restaurant on this side of the island....makes you wonder where they all come from at that time of the night...Nevertheless business is phenomenal and the staff seems a bit overwhelmed, but adjusting...the place is busting with Aloha.." - written prior to September, 1999

- April 20, 2001 - "just recently went to denny's in kailua, kona, hawaii. spent one hour and 30 min. just to eat dinner. it took about 20 mins before a waitress took our order and the rest of the time waiting!! a couple sitting next to our table which were sitting before us finally flagged a waitress and the response from the waitress was 'let me find out who suppose to wait on you!!'. isn't there some kind of system or manager that suppose to oversee this?? i guess at denny's, customer service is not a top priority and should be clearly posted at the front door."
Maui, Hawaii
- "I went to one in Maui several years ago, I think it was in Kihei, but I'm not sure. It was very impressive because the host was very impressed with it. We walked up to the door and he greeted us by saying, "HELLO!!! and WELCOME to DENNY'S!!!!". He showed us to our seats and presented the menus to us one at a time, open to the dinner special's page, with a grand flourish. I don't remember if it was any good, but I remember his enthusiasm!" - written prior to September, 1999

- "when we were on vacation, we went to the dennys in Hawaii. (Maui) there was no one that looked like weird al, but they did have lots of chinks that could not hardly speak english. there was some really cool celing fans, and you could sit out side and eat. that was fun, plus you could tan while you waited for your food. they dident have a no shirt no shoes no service. they had pineapple juice and that was good. but i personally hate dennys food. but your web page just made it a whole heck of alot better. thank you." - written prior to September, 1999

- "Not a place we'd normally go on vacation (or any other time) but we needed a quick breakfast and thought this we could get it there. Ha! The "computer was down" which for some reason interfered with the cook's ability to produce even simple food (although it didn't seem to interfere with the operation of the cash register). The hostess actually began turning people away. When our food finally did come, they had the order wrong, but we ate it anyway, because we just didn't have any more time to spend on nonsense." - written prior to September, 1999

Kihei, Maui, Hawaii
- January 15, 2004 - "In July of 2003 we stayed in Maui. We ate Breakfast at Dennys in Kihei. We enjoyed it very much. The food was good and the service was excellent. We became attached to one of the waitress. We requested her everytime we went. She went above and beyond her job. We still stay in touch with her. I would recommend eating at Denny's in Kihei and request Nai as your waitress!"

Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii
- August 10, 2002 - "Oh Dear! Obviously you have not been to Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii. The Denny's here is really nasty, actually it sucks! The service is lousy and the food just as bad. The prices never are in co-ordination with any world-wide Denny's promotion. They are never a participating restaurant, go figure!.. Thank goodness there are many other places to eat."

Oahu, Hawaii
- "I've written before about this, but there are a whole bunch of Denny's on the islands of Hawaii. I was really surprised not to see any of them listed in your Viewer Response Section. I visited one on Oahu near Honolulu and it was mighty nice." - written prior to September, 1999

- "Hey we live in Hawaii and like to visit the local Denny's here at the Pearl Ridge Mall, right off Kamehameha Highway. Good for late night coffee and chocolate pie." - written prior to September, 1999

Waikiki, Hawaii
- June 11, 2001 - "Ahh the delightful taste of bacon and eggs after a night of drinking at the bars. I was reading the reviews for the Denny's in the Waikiki area and noticed that everyone only mentioned the Denny's by the beach near the Outrigger. Do not get me wrong this is a definate Mecca for those who do the beach thing during the day and the kareoke bar thing at night. However 3 blocks up and 4 blocks over(as the drunk stumbles is a much better Dennys. I it on the same block as the International Marketplace, and makes for a wonderful place to end the night. The food actually outdoes the one by the beach and If you dine there you simply have to get a window seat. From roughly 10pm to 4am this block changes into one of the most festive places in Hawaii. You have street performers, guys trying to sell drugs on the streets, lost tourists, cops breaking up fights, hookers doing there round.... the list goes on so this Denny's definatly gets the gold for entertainment while you eat."
