Aurora, Colorado
- February 2, 2000 - "I don't want to call this MY Denny's as I really can't recommend it. Located at 3180 S Parker Road in Aurora, Colorado it is the one where our friends meet late at night due to it's central location. I am not a smoker but we take turns sitting in the smoking and non-smoking sections. There are no large tables in the smoking section, just tight-fitting booths. The service for the smoking section is lacking and complaints to the manager have resulted in evasive answers and then a moody less serviceable waitress. The non smoking section seems to be a whole other world. The staff and service are pretty decent. Maybe it's the smoke? One thing that I admit to (only to certain people) is that I actually like the food. Well, it is late at night!"

Boulder, Colorado
- "There's a Denny's in Boulder, Colo. It's where you go at 2 in the morning when yr 17 and can't get laid." - written prior to September, 1999
- Robert James
- "There are actually 2 of them. Did you know Boulder has a non-smoking ordinance? You can't smoke at *Denny's*. Far out, man. The food's good, but the frier was broken when we got there. I came across the entire united states in order to eat at denny's, and i couldn't even get some decent fries. sigh." - written prior to September, 1999

- "(28th and Baseline) - This was the best Denny's I had encountered. We would go there in the winter every month after drum circles with large groups of people, and they didn't bat an eyelash. Of course the waitress coming up to the table singing "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead" was very hilarious considering she had no idea we were two tables full of Pagans." - written prior to September, 1999

Colorado Springs, Colorado
- "After just getting back from a horrible experience at Denny's in Colorado Springs, I am ending my patronage. The poor service, cold food, and the fact that they no longer take local checks is the reason. They should change their name to DENGY's. If anyone reading this has shares of Denny's stock, SELL IT NOW!" - written prior to September, 1999

Cortez, Colorado
- "In December of 1998, a bright, shinny new Denny's was opened in Cortez, Colorado (Land of the Anasazi; in the Four-Corners Region of the State). However, this restaurant has had a poor reputation since it's opening. Undaunted, I recently went ahead a took my family to lunch. What I found, unfortunately, was quite true. I could have driven across town, had lunch at another restaurant and returned in the time that it took my family's order to be completed. The food that we did finally get was cold and tasted really bad. On top of that, my mother's order was delayed another half an hour and was (yes, you guessed it, COLD). I can guarantee that my family nor I will ever visit this restaurant again and I will definitely recommend to anyone who will listen, DON'T EVER GO THE DENNY'S RESTAURANT IN CORTEZ, COLORADO. There are many fine restaurants in the Four corners area of Colorado -- unfortunately, Denny's is NOT one of them." - written prior to September, 1999

Denver, Colorado
- "In Denver there is a Denny's located at the corner of Monoco and Leetsdale that a couple of years ago decresed its smoking section to three tables to discourage teenagers from spending so much time there. However, the staff makes up for this because during school hours, if the truant gaurd comes in they stall him until the kids can sneak out the back door. THUMBS UP!" - written prior to September, 1999
- Shannon Paige
- "The Denny's at Colorado and Evans in Denver is the best Denny's around. The waiters and waitresses are always happy to have a crowd, and treat even the loudest, most annoying teenagers with the same respect as the other customers, and they are always quick with the refills. - "Location: Peoria St at I-70, near the 225 junction
Nearly forgot about this one. It was July 1996, and we had just come from a week-long family reunion in Steamboat Springs. We were driving back to the Denver Airport, and decided to take a drive through Downtown Denver. It wasn't all that exciting, to be honest, and as the designated navigator on this trip, it was my job to return us to I-70. I did this, but just as we approached the freeway we spied a Denny's, and decided to eat there rather than suffer the exorbitant prices of airport food. It was incredibly crowded, and we waited some time for a seat. Once we got a seat, we had to wait even longer for our food. I recall the french toast having been great, but we were constantly being interrupted by loud laughter from a bunch of hicks sitting nearby. They say California is very different from the rest of the Union, and I think I know why: the ratio of hicks to normal people in California is lower than the rest of the nation. - September 8, 1999 - "Hi I figured since I haven't been here in a while I would do a data dump on the Denny's that I have been to in the past two years. I recently went to a Denny's in Denver. I believe it was located on 38th or 40th Avenue. The decor was vaguely reminiscent of my childhood in the late 70's. The lights were inadequate. I had apparently suffered brain failure earlier that night, because I suggested my date and I go there to eat. We both ordered orange juice. We didn't get orange juice. It was a vaguely yellowish color. The taste was closer to watered down Tang than to anything that ever grew on a tree. The food wasn't too bad. The only thing that seemed off was that the sausage in the meat lovers platter, ( I don't know the exact name) was cold. the bacon was hot. I suspect, since it was so late, that we got the dregs. The clientele, were frankly frightening. There was a group of young gang members. They occupied two tables and exuded the strong scent of marijuana. There was an overwieght middle aged man with a woman who was an obvoius prostitute. I suspect she was doing something for him under the table. We ate quickly and left. It was on the whole the worst Denny's I have eaten at."

- February 28, 2000 - "Last night I had the worst experience that I have ever had in a resturant. First, it took a while to be seated. Which was expected but then we ordered appetizers and waited for 45 minutes then when we got the appetizers they looked like they were sitting out for a while and were kind of cold. But we were hungry so we ate them. Then me and my girlfriend ordered a couple of burgers and those were cold. Mine was not cooked all the way. It was still red inside. So I just told the waitress that I didn't want it. Then my girlfriend's burger was cold and she sent hers back and when it came back. It was still cold. I asked the waitress what was the problem. She said that they didn't have a cook. She said that they put a waiter in the back to cook the food. So then my girlfried was all upset. We went there with around eight other people and they had said the samething about their food but didn't want to upset the waitress. So basically everyone had left half of what they ordered on their plates. The waitress had left the bill and said that she was going to take offjust one burger. I had told her that everyone's food was cold and that we shouldn't have to pay for anything being that the food wasn't up to standard. I told my friends that never again will I go to that resturant."

Durango, Colorado
- "What a great Dennys you will find in Durango Co. Just one block from where Jack Dempsey clobbered some loudmouth in a hotel. Three blocks from the Silverton narrow gauge steam train. It is on the main route throughDurango and sits right below the bluff that looks over the town. One of the waiters is a dead ringer for Pancho Villa. He possibly is hiding out from the federales. They fill your thermos with a smile and a check and away you go, happy in the knowledge that you have done a small part to further the existence of another Dennys" - written prior to September, 1999

- April 26, 2000 - "Okay, there are three kinds off people who go to the Denny's in Durango. First, you have the older people (like my parents) who like to sit in the back and have a fairly tasty, inexpensive dinner. Then you have the kids who sit in the front, have a hundred refills of the bottomless cup of coffee and smoke about 16 packs of cigarettes. Last, you have the 21-25 year olds that don't care where they sit and come in at about 2:08am (right after they get kicked out of the bars) in order to sober up and not let go of the evening's fun. Denny's is Durango's only 24-hour restaurant and the only place you can go to study for mid-terms and not get kicked out because you've been there for hours and all you've ordered is coffee and fries. We all need places like that, don't we?"

Grand Junction, Colorado
- "The Denny's in Grand Jct., CO is the greatest in the land. Not only are the waiters and waitresses nice, they also serve some good food. If you're ever in town stop by and say HI." - written prior to September, 1999

- November 9, 2003 - "This is my old hangout. I was, as you so aptly put it, an Alternateen. Service here has always been great, and better once the staff get to know you. One downfall, sadly, is that they don't like unknown loiterers and have a 2-refill rule if you don't order food. Additionally, even if you order food, you have a two hour limit after you finish your meal. The staff is very colorful, including one man who is very effeminate, but unconfirmed. It sits right off of I-70, so if you're ever passing through this part of the country you should definitely go."

Greeley, Colorado
- "My name is Kerri Berry (i'm serious, that's really my name) and I grew up in a small town in Colorado called Greeley. On 8th ave. at Denny's was where I spent many hours each and every day. See, Denny's is a great place for people watching! If any freakers lived in town or even came to visit, they congragated at Denny's! I loved it! I do have to say that I respect the wait staff for putting up with the 2:00 AM rush of drunks every Friday & Saturday night! Man I really miss that place! I hope it ends up on your map!" - written prior to September, 1999

Lake George, Colorado
- "Dear Mr. P7A77 I find your quest rather courageous. It takes great courage to step into any Denny's location for me, because of my expierience at the Denny's near...Lake George Colorado:
As we walked in the Denny's, things looked bleak. Everywhere old "fogies" sipping coffee. We were seated without incident, little did we know we would enter.....meal from Hell. The waiter botched 3 out of 4 of our orders, before even serving them. When finally the meal came, someone(a secret admirer perhaps)had decided to make our lives easier by pre-spreading the jelly on our biscuits, and hoped to conceal it from us buy sticking the two halves of the biscuit back together. The eggs were somehow welded to the sponge-like toast. And of course the bacon. Many nightmares come from these hideous strips of bacon. On side was perfectly RAW, the other was some crazy cook(possibly looking like Weird Al)'s idea of flambe." - written prior to September, 1999

Lakewood, Colorado
- "In Lakewood, Colorado there's a Denny's on 5th and Wadsworth with really good french silk pie. They never mind waiting on huge groups of loud, obnoxious teenagers who sometimes leave used razorblades on the table. I'm convinced the waitpeople are psychic, and one of them has a daughter who was on a soap opera. Besides all this, they've traded hair dying secrets with us and even bummed us cigarettes when we're out. It's home." - written prior to September, 1999

- April 23, 2001 - "I live near, so this dennys gets a lot of my business, money and time. I've spent many hours here eating the questionable+expensive food, but I've made friends there. The last times I've gone, Marge the manager, and the employees have treated me like I don't exist. This, except for the person who seats me-expecting a little more money for them. No longer there will I go, there are plenty of good places where my business is appreciated. I recommend others go elsewhere also."
- David Briggs
Louisville, Colorado
- "Stay away from the Denny's in Louisville,Co. unless you like waiting on yourself. I haven't been there for a few months since I swore I would never go back so maybe it it has gotten better. (I hate being critical)" - written prior to September, 1999
- Anita Conner
- (McCaslin and Dillon I believe) - I agree with the other entry about Louisville. It's not pleasant. Same large group of people as went to the Boulder one and we were treated like the plague. They kept hushing us even though there were barely any other people in the place." - written prior to September, 1999

Pueblo, Colorado
- "The Denny's in Pueblo, CO has an adrogenous person..maybe you can find out what IT is! Check out the Ricardo Montelban (Or however the HELL you spell it!) host too!! And if you get Erin or Pauline tip them well cuz they are cool! =)" - written prior to September, 1999

- "My family Has had breakfast at denny's 2 times The service is the worst in town and every table and booth in the place was dirty. We had a 20 minute wait. Ordered breakfast the potatoes were burnt, the sausage was raw, and employees leaned on the wall and no one cleaned the tables, and people waiting at the door. Your new add is great but one trip to your restaurant if plenty. But we gave you 2 trys. the heatlh dept is who needs to give you a visit. The family joke on Sunday moring is "lets go to Denny's for breakfast" then we go to Ihop." - written prior to September, 1999

Silverthorne, Colorado
- "I "jumped" this page by accident, but I thought while I was here I would throw in my two cents. I visit the denny's in silverthorne probably three times a week. the food is always good in quality but usually poor in quantity. i have finally found an item on the menu that is both. the skillet with green peppers and sausage with hash browns and gravy, yummy. my only problem is the terrible lack of staff. we live in a resort town and let me tell you, it gets busy at this denny's. on the morning of march 1st I had some friends visiting me for the weekend, they wanted to go to denny's for breakfast. I PLEADED with them to consider somewhere else because I knew how bad the service was going to be on sunday morning, but I lost. one and a half hours after walking in, we were finally paying our bill. the sad thing is, is that it isnt just sundays that are terrible for customers, it is ALWAYS! they usually cant even handle a group of 5 to 10 people coming in at the same time without getting buried. fortunatly for me I have figured out the secret to good food and quick service. I always try to sit at the counter. usually the same waitress helps me and if I catch the cooks attention and start to b.s. with him, the portions are a plenty. If you should make it to this new denny's give yourself some time. " - written prior to September, 1999

- "I'm from central Missouri. I travel a lot, and Denny's is a common stop for me. I've been to Denny's from Cancun to Indianapolis to Seatle to San Diego. The Denny's in Silverthorn, Colorado is the only one I've ever been to that didn't ofer $2.99 Grand Slam breakfasts. After charging four of us over $30 for a breakfast that should have cost less than $20, they refused to let us pay individually. There we were fumbling, passing twenty's, tens, fives, and ones back and forth trying to come up with the right change while the cashier waited motionless behind his amply stocked change drawer and capable adding machine." - written prior to September, 1999

- August 25, 2000 - "On the way to and from Steamboast Springs... we stopped at the Dennys-wanted to take advantage of their senior citizens menu, etc. Anyway... In we went-about 3pm on a weekday. We were quickly seated.. WEllllll.. Guess what... NO one ever came to wait on us... I like the pancakes, with fruit and yogert.... and had a taste for it.. Finally someone came by-sweeping the floor...-made no offer to wait on us or get someone to help us. After about 15 minutes-its off to the VILLAGE INN- just a short walk away.....
Welll stupid act # 2. On the way back from Steamboat Springs.... we arrived in Silverthorne about 10:30am...Well gave Denny's another shot..... Well guess what---ditto hte above except for hte places being vacuumed. It was NOT busy-about 10 people in the entire plcae... and we saat there.... Welll, from now on when we pass through Silvethorne on the way to Steamboat to visit our son... it will be THE VILLAGE INN. AND this was in the summer-not even ski season........
Yes we paidd more at the Village Inn..... but you get more-like someone waiting on you."

- "This one went beyond "Non-participating"--a cup of coffee was $2.50 with no refills. Catering to those rich, ritzy skiers, it was one of the best-looking Dennys I've ever seen. Everyone there was a snob, though." - written prior to September, 1999
