- "What kinda country do we have over here where we donÕt have anywhere to go for 24 hour breakfasts? I live in Milton Keynes and we are one of the more Americanized cities in the UK but sadly have no DennyÕs Ð I would do anything for one but instead have to wait for my 2 trips over the pond every year Ð anybody who has not been to a DennyÕs (or IHOP) then you have missed out on great food and great service Ð although I donÕt know if the service part would ever catch on in UK!!!"

- "You use to have a sandwitch on the menu sometime in the 80's, called the AMERICANA. It was a large thin slice of french bread topped with ham and turkey, smothered in this GREAT cheese sauce topped with bacon and tomato. What happened to that sandwitch and if you are never going to bring it back, please send me the recipe for the cheese sauce. Please reply. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help."

- "hey, just wanted to say that u are a friggin genius. what better way than to make a career out of eating and visiting Denny's? If you're ever in New York come to Syracuse, specifically West Genesee. If not, that's all right. You'll probably be around sooner or later. I'll be looking for Das Bus, or Das Saturn. Oh, and a quick question - I'm not sure if you already explained this on your site but how are you making money for these trips? And how old are you? Are you married or dating - if so, what does your girlfriend(i'm hoping)/wife(still hoping) think of this? Please don't say you live in your parents basement, that would crush my dream. I dream of someday visiting every Starbucks in the USA. I could survive the long drives on frappacinos, waking with an espresso, lunch would be a muffin, and at night some herbal tea....But I still have to wait a few years till I'll be free to follow this dream of hyper, caffeine filled days. Till then, keep on truckin'."

- "Thanks to the great Dynamic Resturant Management Company and the wonderful Joe Chavin's, if they only knew how to managed a resturant and not blame the wonderful female staff, it would have never went under it was because this company didn't give a ---- about anything or any one and the popular Joe oh please --- don't know his ass from a hole in the road but of course they thought they could do it but Cypress at least never missed a paycheck and didn't promise us the world so please don't ever work for this company called Dynamic ...."

- "All suburban Illinois Denny's bums just lost 2 houses this week. ÊAnd in one day at that! Ê The following havens are now no more:
Denny's of Villa Park-- North Ave. (Rt.64)
Denny's of Glen Ellyn--Roosevelt Rd. (Rt.38)
Since your site is the only decent site of this kind, I figured that you would find this information useful in some way. ÊIf not, no big deal. ÊIf you should ever happen to be in the flatlands of Illinois, you really should visit the Denny's in Addison located near the intersection of Lake Street (Rt.20) and Rohling Road (Rt.53). ÊThere is always an interesting crowd, especially since that store has attracted the regulars from the closed stores."

- "As a former Denny's employee, I especially appreciated your reviews. What a cute idea! In one of these reviews, you mentioned that you asked for a monkey bowl, and received a "vegetable dish" as a free item. I have a sister who used to work at a Denny's in Ohio, who heard that Denny's was faced with a lawsuit regarding the racial implications of the term "monkey bowl." Do you know anything about this, or anywhere that I might find details and/or verification? I have combed the internet searching for reference to the alleged suit, but the only page I have found that covers both Denny's and the words monkey bowl is yours... please help me if you can! I really appreciate it, thanks!"

- "It's me... the guy who got booted from the 83rd and Bell dennys here in phoenix for having pictures of a waitress flashing while wearing her uniform and nametag. Well, I'm back again. I dunno if I mentioned it before, but I'm a semi-pro web photographer with a specialization in erotic photography, and I thought of you guys last time I did a shoot. The attached pictures should explain it all. I know your site isnt adult oriented, and I'd understand if the pictures never made it there, but I figure you'd enjoy them for your personal archive, and hell, maybe you can post censored versions of them somewhere. All that I ask is that you give chainsawbeer.com a link somewhere and leave the chainsawbeer watermark on the image, or if you crop/edit it that you add a little chainsawbeer.com text on it or something. I would love to link to you guys from my site, do you have a banner floating around? I skimmed the site and didnt find anything... I've been a bit of a slacker lately in maintaining my site, and I'm working on building the new server for it, but oh well... hope you enjoy the pictures and sorry about the lack of excellent composure, but well, it's hard to compose good photographs of that nature in a dennys."

- "I've never been to a Denny's anywhere where my food was hot, I will drive miles out of my way, an any strange town, if a Denny's is attached to a hotel I am staying at. It is my pet theory, that Denny's hires the people with the signs "will work for food" who are hitchhiking all over the country, especially near freeway on ramps with Denny's restaurants."

- "To whom ever this may concern, My name is Gena Cote, and for a project in my Intro to Business class we need to ask a manager of a any business that we choose some questions. I was looking online and I came across your website. I choose to look up information on resturants. For my project I choose to "run" a snack shop, so I was hoping that someone could help me out, it would be greatly appreciated. If you would like to help me out - please answer the following questions... or just which ever questions you would like too. Some of them seem alittle rude to me, but we need to ask them. So please don't feel like you have to answer all of them.
1. Name:
2. Position:
3. Salary:
4. Benifits:
5. How many employees would you recommend working at once?
6. Do you think starting a resturant at Hampton Beach was a good choice?
7. What things have you done that you wish you could have done differently, or were unwise decisions?
8. Is your business a partnership, corporation or sole propritorship?
9. What licenses do you need to open the business?
10. Is there anything you wish to add?"

- "So, it really is true. All I've been hearing about the infamous P7A77 and his amazing Denny's site. I supposed that, being a founding member of Hand-Held Appliances, I should be disappointed that I am not a part of your online Denny's adventures. Then again, perhaps it's in my best interest. I guess we'll never really know for sure. Many congratulations and best wishes on the continuing Denny's adventure. I always knew you had it in you! (along with some other crap.)"

ÊMy web-addicted, travel junkie self was instantly inspired by your log of Denny's theme travel. ÊAfter returning to the states one year ago, I visited your site from time to time to check for updates. ÊImagine ny pleasant surprise recently when I found that you not only updated, but had also visited Costa Rica! ÊThank you for the entertaining site, and best of luck in your travels."

- "As a former General Manager for Denny's I salute your Website. I'm now a Realtor in Evansville Indiana making a lot more money that way, but still remembering Denny's as a company that gave a German girl the chance to climb the ladder from waitress to Manager to General Manager. People often put down Denny's and the staff, but I made great friends and worked with great people in Houston Texas. I was a waitress at the Richmond Ave Denny's, a Manager at the Katy Frwy Dennys and a General Manager at the Hwy 6 Denny's. It's been over 7 years since I left Houston (and Denny's) and sometimes I even miss the restaurant business."

- "yes, thats right im a dennys manager for 3 years now!! after seeing all the dennys you have in your time, im sure you come across many who are ashamed. right now im a manager in clifton park n.y. there are now 5 dennys within an hour of each other.(depends on driving, traffic, and season). if you keep up to date on your feedback, there is quite the competition between these stores for bragging rights in sales, guest counts, service, and FSV scores. whats an FSV? well ask any manager and they'll cringe at you. they used to call them RER's but no named Food Service Visitation these are SURPRISE inspections from higher ups its like a visit from the health dept, but 100x stricter and 4 times a year. a difficult score to acheive would be a 91 average being 82-85. failing below 80, thats when sh*t hits the fan for mgt. these are big bragging rights. if you ever come out this way and stop at all of them, (4 of them you can do in 1/2 an hour) talk about the others and laugh at the weird stuff said about neighboring stores. my opinion, i have worked in all 5, the best one by far is the one everyone forgets way up in lake george. they have the highest scores, great sales figures, and is the CLEANEST, not to mention the staff and mgt is great, especailly the g.m."

- "I just today found your website on someone else's homepage titled"ridiculously funny websites", what a hoot! I was reading your feedback and can answer a question from Ken Carlini who wrote to you on 2/11/01 in regards to Denny's being called "Sambo's" in the 70's. I grew up in Oakland, CA and I remember a "Sambo's" restaurant in the Jack London Square area of Oakland, even in the 60's. It was a chain, and I think Denny's bought them out, and of course the name Sambo was not a good choice, especially in Oakland! Thanks for your time, and have fun!"

- "Dear Denny's God, Did I mention I love you? Oh wait yea it's in the subject. You are now my personal god. I remember when I was like 10 one of my older brother's, Matt, would take me everywhere... mainly his freaky friends' houses and Dennys. Memories of season fries in honey mustard sauce and fresh lemonade spewing forth from my nose. The laughs, the good times... the really bad food. Oh well their coffee wasn't that bad. Yes, I was 10 and drinking coffee. Never did care fore breakfast though, mainly bacon and hashbrowns gal. Well thought I'd drop you a line sharing my Denny's feelings."

- "For over 20 years every Denny's I ate at from here(Houston,Texas) to Del Mar Cal. West and Albany,New York East. I nagged them to get real pickles for the Hamburgers instead of those Kosher Wedges there was no way to put on the Burger. Something Happened 10 years ago around here they dumped the Wedge for real Pickles. I wonder if it changed else where? Now to get Wendy's to make normal looking patties instead of the square ones or at least put it on bread instead of a bun so the meat will fit. Are those French Fries at McDonalds or battered tooth picks?"
